June 17, 2014- Castlegar Sculpture Walk Sculpture of the Day “Mobius”

Today's Sculpture is an abstract beauty in blue! This is the first abstract sculpture to be featured as part of my blog series on Castlegar's Sculpture Walk. 

"Mobius" is a smooth, eye-catching steel ring that stands out on Columbia Avenue in front of its business sponsor the Element Club, Bar and Grill. I love the simplicity of Mobius and the angles used to create more this elegant ring that almost takes on a different form from every angle you view it from. 

Strong, simple and bright "Mobius" comes to Castlegar from Christopher Peterson who is another BC artist! Peterson is based out of Argenta, he is also a repeat exhibitor on the Castlegar Sculpture Walk.
